Parking Information

  • Limited prepaid onsite parking

    Christkindlmarkt at This Is The Place Heritage Park offers paid onsite parking and free shuttle service from the parking lot to the Market and back. The paid lots are indicated in yellow on the Parking Map b‍elow.

    Please follow the signage and directions of Salt Lake Police officers and do not park in local neighborhoods and undesignated parking areas.

  • Free offsite parking

    Christkindlmarkt at This Is The Place Heritage Park offers free offsite parking and shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes to and from the market. Each offsite lot is indicated by a number on the Parking Map b‍elow.. The color of each lot determines the available days and times.

    Please follow the signage and directions of Salt Lake Police officers and do not park in local neighborhoods and undesignated parking areas.

  • Public transportation

    You can now ride public transportation to the market. Take TRAX Red Line to the University of Utah Stadium Station. Then, follow the signs to the Christkindlmarkt shuttle stop the Rice-Eccles Stadium. The shuttle will take you directly to the market at This Is The The Place Heritage Park.

  • Do I need to purchase tickets?

    Christkindlmarkt SLC is free and open to the public. Entry tickets are not required. Christkindlmarkt SLC

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Due to the large crowds, we do not allow pets at Christkindlmarkt SLC. Service animals are permitted.

  • Can I bring a wheel chair or stroller?

    This is The Place Heritage Park is stroller and wheelchair accessible. We do not have wheelchairs available for the general public, but you are welcome to bring your own.

    Due to large crowds and tight spaces, we ask that you leave strollers at home if possible.

  • Can I bring a large group or field trip?

    Yes, groups are welcome. However, field trips and groups of 40+ are required to preregister.
