  • Where is the market?

    The market is held at This is the Place Heritage Park
    2601 E. Sunnyside Avenue Salt Lake City, UT

    Due to large crowds, we have updated our parking options. Please plan ahead and learn more by referencing our Parking Information section.

  • When is the market?

    The market will be open 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM from December 2nd to December 5th. Visit Market Schedule for a list of daily activities, performances, experiences, and parades.

  • Do I need to purchase tickets?

    Christkindlmarkt SLC is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Due to the large crowds, we do not allow pets at Christkindlmarkt SLC. Service animals are permitted.

  • Can I bring a wheel chair or stroller?

    This is The Place Heritage Park is stroller and wheelchair accessible. We do not have wheelchairs available for the general public, but you are welcome to bring your own.

    Due to large crowds and tight spaces, we ask that you leave strollers at home if possible.

  • Can I bring a large group or field trip?

    Groups and field trips are welcome! To book a field trip to the market and to register a field trip bus, please contact Angela Mueller ckmfieldtrips@gmail.com.

    All other groups and busses need to be registered directly with This is the Place Park by emailing customerservice@thisistheplace.org. If your bus is not registered, it will not be allowed to park in Christkindlmarkt parking.

Parking Information

  • Limited paid onsite parking

    Christkindlmarkt at This Is The Place Heritage Park offers paid onsite parking and free shuttle service to and from the Market. Handicap parking spots and lot entrances can be found on the Parking Map b‍elow.

    Please follow the signage and directions of Salt Lake Police officers and do not park in local neighborhoods and undesignated parking areas.

  • Free offsite parking

    Christkindlmarkt at This Is The Place Heritage Park offers free offsite parking and shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes to and from the market.

  • Public transportation

    You can now ride public transportation to the market. Take trax to the shuttle stop
