  • Where is the market and where can I park?

    The market is held at This is the Place Heritage Park
    2601 E. Sunnyside Avenue Salt Lake City, UT

    We provide limited paid onsite parking and ample free offsite parking with shuttle services. Please plan ahead and learn more by referencing our Parking Information section below.

  • When is the market?

    The market will be open 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM from December 2nd to December 5th. Visit Market Schedule for a list of daily activities, performances, experiences, and parades.

  • Do I need to purchase tickets?

    Christkindlmarkt SLC is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. We offer limited paid onsite parking and ample free offsite parking with shuttle services. Review our new parking policy and options below.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Due to the large crowds, we do not allow pets at Christkindlmarkt SLC. Service animals are permitted.

  • Can I bring a wheel chair or stroller?

    This is The Place Heritage Park is stroller and wheelchair accessible. We do not have wheelchairs available for the general public, but you are welcome to bring your own.

    Due to large crowds and tight spaces, we ask that you leave strollers at home if possible.

  • Can I bring a large group or field trip?

    Yes, groups are welcome. However, field trips and groups of 40+ are required to preregister.

    **Busses cannot enter Christkindlmarkt parking without preregistration.

Parking Information

  • Limited paid onsite parking

    Christkindlmarkt at This Is The Place Heritage Park offers paid onsite parking and free shuttle service to and from the Market. Handicap parking spots and lot entrances can be found on the Parking Map b‍elow.

    Please follow the signage and directions of Salt Lake Police officers and do not park in local neighborhoods and undesignated parking areas.

  • Free offsite parking

    Christkindlmarkt at This Is The Place Heritage Park offers free offsite parking and shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes to and from the market.

  • Public transportation

    You can now ride public transportation to the market. Take trax to the shuttle stop
