Inspired by the world famous German Christmas markets, Christkindlmarkt SLC is a 501 (c)(3) with a mission to serve and connect the Utah community through a magical German celebration of Christmas.
Be the kind this season
At Christkindlmarkt, we aim to put the KIND in Christ-KIND-lmarkt by celebrating St. Martin’s Day. St. Martin’s Day is a holiday that honors a soldier who gave the coat off of his back to save a freezing man. In Germany, children make paper lanterns and parade though town. At Christkindlmarkt, we celebrate this holiday during the market with our own Lantern Parade and the St Martin’s Project that supports a different local charitable organization each year.
